VOICE - Victims Overcoming the Indignity of Criminal Exploitation - is a unique victim's rights organization designed to bridge the gap between the community and the prisoners.

VOICE will create interaction between the survivors of crime and prisoners by providing an opportunity for both crime survivors and prisoners to confront their crimes in a general forum. This interaction allows prisoners to see the affect of their crimes on the victims, the families of both the victims and the prisoners, and the community at large.

In order for prisoners to transition from blame, rationalization, and denial, those prisoners must begin to feel compassion for all victims of their crimes, internalize change, and become enlightened from within to accept responsibility for their actions. The dehumanizing environment of incarceration works against this healing process - VOICE is dedicated to repairing this disparity.

VOICE is currently in the program development stage. We are partnering with others who are passionate and experienced with the rehabilitation of both crime survivors and prisoners. If you are interested, please:
