Families United for Prison Reform has partnered with DeclareYourself!, a nonprofit organization committed to registering the youth of America for the 2008 Presidential Election. We found the site simple and informative.
Here is what you need to complete the registration process:
- Your basic information (name, address, date of birth)
- A printer
- A pen
- Your California driver’s license, your California I.D., or the last four numbers of your Social Security Number. If you don’t have any of these, follow the instructions.
- A stapler or tape
- A 42 cent stamp
Go to:
- www.declareyourself.com and follow the online instructions. Registration is also available in Spanish!
- Print the last two-pages of the form.
- Sign your complete name.
- Fold, staple, stamp, and mail it! DeclareYourself! Has already filled in the address to your County Registrar.
